State privacy laws vary widely. We honor data rights and opt-out requests from consumers who reside in any U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law currently in effect.
States Currently Covered
As of May 2026, these states have enforceable consumer privacy laws and you may exercise the rights described in our Privacy Rights Overview:
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.
What If I Don't Live in a Covered State?
You can still:
- Opt out of marketing communications — this right is available to everyone, not just residents of covered states, under federal CAN-SPAM and TCPA rules.
- Contact us with privacy questions — we'll respond even if we can't fulfill a formal data rights request.
State Laws Are Expanding
This list grows regularly as more states pass and implement privacy laws. If your state isn't on the list yet, you can still submit a request — if a new law takes effect, we'll honor it.
